Former True Blood hunk Mehcad Brooks and Brazilian model Emmanuela de Paul were photographed by Carter Smith for the latest issue of US GQ magazine.
Mehcad proves what smart, stylish men have long known: “That a swimsuit doesn’t need to droop to your knees. This summer, make sure your shorts are emblazoned with stripes and are considerably shorter than last year’s”
GQ’s July issue features Twilight Saga star Taylor Lautner photographed by Mario Testino on the cover.
In the article Taylor talks about the sudden rise to stardom, his favorite restaurants and the world’s apparent willingness to see Taylor with his shirt off. Micky Rapkin, the articles’ author explains: “There are many such perils facing Nickelodeon’s favorite male actor. For starters, he has to be careful about his rep as beefcake. He tells a story reminiscent of the plight of young female starlets in town: Lautner had a small role in the surprise hit Valentine’s Day, playing a high school athlete. The role was written speciffically for him. “Originally I was supposed to take off my shirt,” he says. “The script said we were walking into school and Willy takes off his shirt. I said, ‘Whoa, whoa, whoa. Time out. He’s gonna take off his shirt in the middle of school? No, no, no. The reason I took off my shirt for New Moon is because it’s written in the book that way. And there’s reasons behind it.“”
