THE X FACES OF FRED FAURTIN BY EXTERFACE

After five years dedicated to graphic design, Stéphane and Julien create in 2005, Exterface, their photographic signature. Progressively, they work for many magazines, brands and personalities. At the same time, their personal work centers on stripped masculinity, esthethic sensuality and psychological duality. Bodies beauty becomes desire, fantasy, fascination in an oniric, brilliant and vivid world. In fall 2008, both 24, they release their first anthology called THE THING HE LOVES. It’s a worldwide acclaimed success! To celebrate the release of their new book «X», they will be presenting a special exhibition at the Brugier Rigail gallery, from november 5 to november 7 2009, in Paris. Imagined by Exterface, «X» is as a ten-acts work of art and the result of ten months working on themes such as seduction and conquest. On more than a hundred of pictures, the duet direct Fred Faurtin, through ten characters, with surprising and captivating women and men (François Sagat, Vin Costes, Dj Leomeo…). All together, they experience an emotional journey, cover and undercover, travel through times and locations where baroque, romanticism, fantastic, thriller, punk and even antiquity are mixed.

SAINT-COCHON by EXTERFACE

Exterface‘ series tells a story as a fresco where the plot is ‘all is not what it seems’. Julien and Stéphane invite us to attend a spectacle where the model seems palpable yet somehow unreal. More than photographers, Julien and Stéphane are directors, painters and scenario writers. They play with artistic currents to prove that human nature hasn’t revealed all its secrets just yet.

The new serie Saint-Cochon features Alexandre Misericordia & Moutton Collet – jewles by Mouton Collet.
