Leandro Meader’s hobbies include lifting, negotiating, climbing, all those things that empower one in an overall aspect and his first ambition is to live… he reasons, “anything I become a part of is an ambition.”

Here, he was photographed by Dean Isidro and we love so much the result!

Dean Isidro grew-up in a small coastal town in Northern California framed by broad expanses of the Pacific to the West, the Santa Cruz Mountains to the East, a boundless blue sky overhead and rich fertile soil under his feet.

His early interest in photography was inspired by that setting; captivated by the unending horizon line of the coast, vast agricultural stretches, and wide-open natural expanses, Dean picked up both video and camera in an effort to capture and communicate to others the essence of his environment. This relationship to the natural world is the foundation of his point of view today.

After studying photography and art history in Italy, and at Pepperdine University, in Malibu – chosen in large part for it’s idyllic setting – Dean apprenticed for five years for one of fashion’s leading photographers. During this period, he traveled the world extensively, keeping detailed sketchbooks and polaroids of the people, countries, cities and sites he visited.

After his arrival New York, Dean honed his vision and point-of-view, further developing his creative craft. His approach and attitude toward photography are influenced by the feel-good days of his youth and the wanderlust of his early professional experiences.

Dean’s range of assignments include editorial work for Elle, Italian Elle, Dutch Elle, Russian Vogue, Russian Harper’s Bazaar and Cosmopolitan, NYTimes, and L’Optimum; his commercial clients include: Guess, Victoria’s Secret, Rena Lange, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Bloomingdales, Macy’s and Lord & Taylor, Tommy Hilfiger and Nautica.
