YVY Mag want to felicitate 2010 Mr. NEXT Man of the Year, Richard Maher and 2010 Mr. NEXT Photographer of the Year Vincent Li.
“Last 6 months has been amazing. Richard and I have worked together trying to create a better image from each photo-shoot. We’ve travelled to South of France and we got up at 5.30 in the morning so that we can catch the sun rise for the shot. Our images has been seen by so many people and we get amazing responses from people everywhere. This competition has been an amazing journey. Knowing the fact that we were competing against 10 other countries makes my heart beat faster each time. The other models were fantastic too and I am actually a big fan of two of the photographers in the competition. The voting period were the most intense 5 days, with myself sitting on my computer reminding people to vote for us every 24 hours. So we have to give a BIG thank you to all the supporters/readers out there who voted for us. Without you guys, we will not win the title. This is the beginning of something big and amazing. From 1st Jan, Richard will become a full time model. His effort and his ambition will not be wasted and his face will be recognized. As for myself, my dream to become a full time fashion photographer has come closer. 2010 is going to be fantastic.
