The campaign was shot by fashion photographer Mariano Vivanco who also worked on four of Dolce & Gabbana’s publications, the books Calcio (Football) (2003), Milan Dolce&Gabbana (2006), Milan Family (2007), 2006 Dolce & Gabbana Italia Champions of the World (2006), as well as two calendars – the glorious one featuring male model David Gandy and another featuring A.C. Milan football team (2008). 
The new SS09 Dolce & Gabbana campaign features the Italian swimmers Emiliano Brembilla, Paolo Bossini, Mirco Di Tora, Nicola Cassio and Alessandro Terrin.
